I need you. You’ve crawled under my skin and remained hidden there. Dormant, hibernating, but still warm and comforting throughout my entire being. During the cold of my soul’s Winter you are the fire flowing through my veins. Waiting, resting, remaining there until Spring. And with the coming of Spring you took hold of my bones, growing, and blooming new love in familar places. Resurecting feelings of deep affection. Then, almost without warning you start a raging fire in my heart. You reach out and touch the shores of my soul and my Summer has begun. It comes back to me easily.
